Are you a winery?
No, WineSource.com is your source for the best values in hard-to-find domestic
wines, but we are not a winery. Instead, we have scoured the leading growing
regions in the country to locate the best wineries, offering wines you probably
won't able to find in your local market. We take the time to actually visit
the wineries, taste their wines, and select only those which we believe represent
a worthy selection and great value. Wines offered at WineSource.com can only
be compared to those offered elsewhere at significantly higher prices.
While we process all transactions for our partner wineries, we do not
sell wine directly to consumers. Instead, we offer a convenient shopping
service for customers - consumers, businesses and charitable organizations
- in which orders placed on our site are directed immediately to
the selected winery, which will ship direct to you - at tasting room
prices. We are dedicated to providing our customers the utmost in customer
service, and you can follow each shipment from order through delivery
and receipt.
Personalization of labels is available for many wines for only $2 per
bottle - much less than you will find on competitive wine sites - and
there is no setup fee for designing labels with your own image (which
can cost as much as $45 on other sites). Wine alone is a special gift,
but when adorned with a personal message and distinctive photo or other
graphic, it becomes a unique and memorable way to celebrate holidays
and special occasions and to build affinity and other relationships.
Corporations use wines carrying a personal greeting along with a corporate
logo in promotions and marketing activities, customer retention programs
and for employee gifts. Caterers, banquet facilities, party and event
planners, and members of the hospitality industry use personalized wines
for promotional and resale purposes. We also provide a growing
number of charitable and educational institutions an outstanding product
for both fund raising and affinity purposes.
Our proprietary label software, easily accessed on this site, allows
the creation of high quality, full-color, ready-to-print labels, containing
personal inscriptions, photo and other graphics - still maintaining the
brand identity of the wine you select.

What's the deal with these "special" wines?
Every wine-maker discovers at some
point that they have some excess inventory of one vintage or another.
The wines are still good, valuable wines, but the winery needs to make
room for storing newer vintages. In order to make that room, they've
decided to move out older inventory (often the best!) at a reduced price.
You can pick up some spectacular values on your favorite varietals
here!

What is your return policy?
At WineSource.com, we strive to bring you the best wines we can find.
In fact, we have personally visited each winery and sampled each wine
on our site to ensure that we're offering you a high-quality wine for
a great price. However, if you ever do experience a problem with a shipment,
please call us immediately and let us know. We want you to be satisfied
with your order. We may require you to return the unopened bottle to
us for quality control information. If you must return an order returned
for reasons other than quality of the wine, we must charge a 15% re-stocking
fee to cover the labor to re-stock the bottles. We can only accept returns
shipped in the original box and packaging. Please email us anytime at customerservice@winesource.com for information on returning your wine.
Personalized Labels: Once you enter a label into our system, neither
WineSource.com nor the winery is able to adjust or change your label.
It is your responsibility during your design process to make sure that
you have spelled all words and names correctly. We will not accept returns
on personally labeled wine for spelling errors or misprints.
However, despite our care and quality control, if there is a problem
with your label other than spelling errors or misprints, let us know
and we'll take care of it for you.
As is customary in wines, all bottles of wine at least ten years aged
are purchased at the buyer's risk.
 What are your guarantees?
We take extra care to assure the accuracy of every shipment, including
the accuracy of the personalization and the selection of the wine itself.
If for any reason you should receive the wrong wine or if there is an error
in your label or a broken or spoiled bottle, let us know immediately.
Is there a sales tax charged on my order?
Your Shopping Cart will show the sales tax associated with your
order and will reflect the collection policy of the relevant winery. Each
winery has determined when and how to collect any appropriate sales tax.
During the order process, we show the sales tax in your total, according
to what the winery has determined about local and state laws regarding
sales tax.

How do I pay for orders?
We accept most major credit cards
through our Shopping Cart. Please note that while we do accept
your payment, we do not own the wines -- we merely process your credit
card information as a service for the wineries. Once we've accepted
payment, the winery will re-verify their stock and then accept your
order. If for some reason the winery needs to reject your order,
we promptly inform the credit card company and release your pending
order (and thus refund your money). We take your privacy and your
security very seriously. Please see our Privacy & Security policy
if you have any questions or contact us at customerservice@winesource.com .
How long does it take to process orders?
Our winery partners normally process and ship all orders within three
business days after they receive your order. You will always
be advised of the actual shipment date. You will receive a confirmation
email from WineSource.com when your order is accepted by each winery
from whom you ordered. We will email you once more with the tracking
number of your package (as available) when your wine is shipped (within
three business days of the time your order is accepted or within four
business days if your wine is to be personalized).

 Shipping

How do you calculate shipping costs?
We base our shipping costs on the zone-to-zone shipping rates of UPS.
In addition to the zone-to-zone rate, each of our wineries uses specially
designed packaging materials and mailers to ensure that your wine arrives
safely. To help defray this shipping cost, we charge 75¢ per bottle
for these specialized shipping supplies.
In addition, because our wineries are shipping directly to you, and
because minors cannot accept alcohol shipments, we also must require
that an adult (over 21) to sign for the package. This is an additional
$3.25 fee.
How do I know when order is shipped?
We will email you to confirm shipment and to give the tracking number
of your package (as available) when your wine is shipped (within three
days of the time your order is accepted).
Can I track my order?
In order to ship to the widest variety of areas, we must use a variety
of carriers. As the carriers make tracking numbers available to us,
we will pass those tracking numbers on to you.
Why did I receive an email stating that my wine cannot be shipped
immediately?
Please note that every winery wants your wines to arrive in perfect condition.
Therefore, many wineries will not send out particularly fragile wines
during certain extreme weather conditions, but will delay shipment until
it is safe to send that wine.
Why can't the carrier leave my package on the door? I've received
other shipments that way.
Legally, wineries must ensure that no wine is delivered to minors, so
wine shipments require an adult to receive and sign for the package.
Because wine shipments require not just someone to be home to receive
the shipment, but requires an adult to be home to sign for the shipment,
you might consider having the wine shipped to a business or commercial
location instead of to your home, particularly during periods of extreme
weather. If no adult is available to sign for your wine when the first
delivery attempt is made, the package goes back to the warehouse and
a second attempt is made the following day. During periods of extreme
temperatures, repeated attempts to deliver your wine can adversely affect
your wine's quality.

What states do you ship to?
Our United States winery partners are regulated by varying shipping
laws of many states, which often prohibit the shipment by an out-of-state
winery to an in-state resident. We are constantly striving to increase
the number of states to which our partner wineries can ship and the
recent Supreme Court ruling has made this much easier -- we update
our ability to ship to new areas very frequently!
Sometimes our customer service department can arrange shipments into
the states currently not serviced by direct shipments of our winery partners.
Please contact us at customerservice@WineSource.com if
you have any questions. Non-wine items can be shipped anywhere in the
continental United States and many areas of Canada.
Is there a minimum size for orders?
There is no minimum order size on our wines.
What shipping options are there?
Our shipping rates at WineSource.com are based on the zone to zone shipping
rates of UPS. We may, from time to time, utilize other carriers where
they provide a more economical or efficient means. Actual shipping
charges for your order will always be detailed in the checkout process
and accepted by you prior to our obtaining your credit card information.
Several factors determine the shipping price. First, the weight and
size of the package affect its cost, and secondly, the originating
shipping area and the destination shipping area. All of our wineries
use standardized wine shipping boxes. These wine shipping boxes
have been designed specifically to ensure your wine arrives safely.
In addition, because our wineries are shipping directly to you, and
because minors cannot accept alcohol shipments, we must require that
an adult (over 21) to sign for the package and we cannot leave packages
unattended at your front door or place of business.
Please note that WineSource.com does not actually own or ship any of
the wine. Instead of using expensive middlemen or warehouses, your wine
is shipped directly from the winery which created it. This helps to keep
our prices lower than anyone else on the internet, however, it does mean
that each individual winery from whom you've ordered will be sending
their wine separately. If your order includes wines from two or more
wineries, your order will arrive in separate shipments.
How long does delivery normally take?
Most products are shipped from the winery within three business days
of the receipt of your order and verification of your credit card information.
Personalized wines take at least four business days to ship from the
winery due to the extra labor involved. Wineries generally do not ship
on weekend, holidays or Fridays. Depending upon the address of the
recipient and the location of the producer, delivery normally takes
anywhere from 3-7 additional business days, however, we do offer 2nd
and 3rd day delivery (you may choose these options from your shopping
cart during the order process for an extra fee).
Do you offer faster shipping?
We do offer 2nd and 3rd day delivery (you may choose these options from
your shopping cart during the order process for an extra fee). Please
remember that it does take three to four business days to process orders
before they are shipped out.

Personalized Labels

Why should I personalize my wine?
Personalization of labels is available for many wines for only $2 per
bottle - much less than you will find on competitive wine sites - and
there is no setup fee for designing labels with your own image (which
can cost as much as $45 on other sites). Wine alone is a special gift,
but when adorned with a personal message and distinctive photo or other

and special occasions and to build affinity and other relationships.
Corporations use wines carrying a personal greeting along with a corporate
logo in promotions and marketing activities, customer retention programs

wines for promotional and resale purposes. We also provide a growing

the creation of high quality, full-color, ready-to-print labels, containing
personal inscriptions, photo and other graphics - still maintaining the
brand identity of the wine you select.
Is there any charge for personalized labels?
We do charge a handling fee of $2 per bottle for personalized labels
only because it is an extra labor on the part of the winery to access,
print and smoothly apply the special label to your bottle of wine. However,
we do not require a minimum order of 12 bottles for
personalization as many of our competitors do.
Is there an extra charge for adding photos, logos or other graphics?
In contrast to competitors, we never add an up charge for the addition
of your photo, logo or other graphic to your label.
Do you provide custom labels for special occasion and events?
We do not offer photos for special occasion and events at this time,
although we are in the process of adding this feature.
Can I access a "library" archive of the labels
I've saved?
We hope to have this feature active on the site soon, but at this time,
we do not have a way to view your past labels.

What is the Label Wizard?
Our Label Wizard allows you to experience, with absolutely no obligation,
the magic of our proprietary system where you can create, on line and
on demand, the highest quality personalized labels for fine wine and
other high quality products. Try it and after following the three easy
steps, see your personal message and photos come alive on the label
you create within seconds.
Is there any obligation for creating a personalized label through
Label Wizard?
Absolutely none whatsoever. Try one, or as many as you want to create.
Add your favorite logo or photo and personalized message and enjoy your
creation in just a few seconds.
Can I see my personalized label before it is printed?
In contrast to our competitors, only our Label Wizard allows you to see
instantly the addition of your graphic to your personalized label.
Our Label Wizard perfectly sizes your photo or other graphic to the
label and instantly shows you the actual label-ready for immediate
printing. In addition, most other companies offering personalization
require you to send them any graphics in a specialized format rather
than our easy-to-use web-based system.
What can I put on my label?
You are the creator of your label and the content is yours to choose,
although our winery partners and we reserve the right to reject submitted
labels for any reason, including the inclusion of pornography or matters
violating good taste or if it violates our Acceptable Use Policy.
